Elevator Pitch

Hi there, my name is Sydney, I am a current university student majoring in Creative industries with a specialization in fashion and film. Additionally, I have lived all over the northern hemisphere and I hope to enter a career path that will fuel my creative outlets and allow me to continue learning about other cultures.

My elevator pitch is based on what I normally say when I interview for jobs. To figure out what I wanted to include in my elevator pitch, I looked back on my resume to see what skills and characteristics I highlighted. Usually, when an interviewer asks me to introduce myself, I try my best to first describe what I am doing currently, which is usually some type of schooling. Since leaving high school I found it more difficult to describe what I am actually doing in school, so I found that the best way to explain is by mentioning my module specializations along with my major. I hope that the way I phrased it within my pitch will allow for the listener to get a basic understanding of what I study and prompt them to ask questions. To continue, I am utilizing my next line to better describe myself as a person. By highlighting where I’ve lived I aim to exhibit my open-mindedness, inclusiveness, and adaptability. Lastly, I have added my future aspirations within my career path, and overall life objectives. Although I am not sure as to what field I would like my career to be in, I hope that this line at least displays what I am aspiring to work for.
